Description

Seitan is a very diverse food that has been valued for thousands of years. It is a delicious meat alternative made from wheat gluten. Seitan is made by "washing the gluten out" of wheat dough wheat. In fact, that's where the name comes from. Seitan means "made from protein" in Japanese.

The gluten obtained in this way is seasoned with Shoyu soy sauce and marinated in apple cider vinegar and water.

Seitan can be used in many ways. It can be grilled, fried, sauteed and breaded & fried - the possibilities are endless. You can also enjoy them raw in a salad.
