Description
This baking mix by Bake Affair brings pure chocolate delights to your kitchen! Bake delicious shortbread chocolate cookies in no time - perfect for the Christmas ciikie platter or as a delicious snack at any time.
The mix contains high-quality ingredients the lend an intense cocoa flavour and ideal crunch to the cookies. Whether served plain, dusted with powdered sugar or creatively decorated, these chocolate cookies are a wonderful addition to the cookie platter and popular with young and old alike.
Baking instructions:
- Take the contents of the baking mix in a large mixing bowl or Thermomix.
- Cut 165 g cold butter into small pieces and add to the baking mix along with 1 tablespoon of water.
- Knead the dough by hand, with a food processor or Thermomix for 2 - 3 minutes.
- Wrap the dough in cling film and refrigerate for about 60 minutes (or overnight).
- Sprinkle your work top with flour and cut out cookies about 5 mm thick.
- Bake on the cookie sheet lined with baking paper in a preheated oven at 170 °C top/bottom heat for 10 - 15 minutes until the cookies turn light brown.
