Description

The gluten-free organic pizza dough by Bauck Mühle is a baking mix consisting of wholegrain rice flour and other gluten-free ingredients. Its texture is less sticky than traditional wheat-based dough. The base bakes up moist on the inside and wonderfully crisp on the outside.

The mix is vegan, unsweetened and requires no rising time. All that is needed is water, a little oil and your favourite toppings. The ingredients in the pizza dough mix are checked in Bauck Mühle’s in-house gluten laboratory, ensuring a reliable gluten-free base for homemade pizza.

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 225°C (gas mark 4, fan oven: 190°C).
  2. Place the contents of the pack in a bowl, then add 250 ml lukewarm water and 2 tablespoons of oil, such as olive oil.
  3. Mix with a hand mixer (dough hook) until a smooth dough forms.

Note:
The dough does not need to rise. It is slightly softer than conventional dough, which helps the pizza base stay moist on the inside and crisp on the outside once baked.
