Description

These tonka beans were collected by the Quilombola tribe in the forests of the Amazon. They have an intense almond and marzipan flavour and can be used as an alternative to vanilla. They taste great in desserts such as ice cream, creme brulee or pannacotta. Enjoy them in dressings, dark sauces and dark meat.

Serving tips:

  • Grate the whole beans sparingly with a nutmeg grater over your dish. Use the sugar as a topping or for flavouring desserts.
