Description
Unagi Sauce by ITA-SAN is based on classic soy sauce made from soybeans and wheat, finished with sugar and dextrose for a sweet and savoury flavour. Its pleasantly thick consistency makes it ideal for coating ingredients with a glossy glaze. Although traditionally served with grilled eel in Japanese cuisine, it is a versatile sauce for many other dishes too.
Drizzle it over finished sushi and colourful poke bowls, use it with grilled meat or fish, or add it to stir-fries towards the end of cooking. Its thick texture and balanced seasoning make it particularly useful as a finishing sauce and glaze.
