Indispensable in the kitchen - This pepper has been used in Ayurvedic cooking for 3,000 years and is known to be a hot spice. It is used to increase flavour and is effective in stimulating Agni, the digestive fire and vitality in Ayurveda medicine.
Tellicherry is the name of the traditional port of export and a synonym for this high quality pepper from Kerala in southern India, which is distinguished by extra large berries and an intense aroma. It comes from the small farmers project the Peermade Development Society (PDS).
