The Malerwinkl Basic Seasoning Sauce is Austria's first fermented seasoning sauce that does not contain any soy or genetically engineered products. The main ingredient is the locally grown sweet lupine. It is richer in protein than meat, fish or dairy products. The sauce was invented by Peter Troißinger Junior, the junior chef of the MALERWINKL Restaurant + Art Hotel in Hatzendorf in Styria, Austria.
