Description
This is a high-quality, nearly textbook-perfect Pinot Gris. Due to its structure and fullness, it can be classified as a "Lagenwein" (the equivalent of a French Cru).
Ageing in used, small wooden barrels and long storage on fine lees make it a full-bodied, almost creamy wine with great potential. The 2020 vintage is now at the perfect drinking maturity.
Elegant on the nose. Ripe stone fruit, delicately nutty and subtle wood flavours. Full-bodied and juicy on the palate with a crisp centre. Lingers long on the finish and leaves an overall impression of high quality.
A great accompaniment to many dishes, it is perfect as an everyday wine.
