Description
Quinoa is a pseudocereal whose small seeds swell slightly when cooked. The seeds have a slightly crunchy, yet soft consistency and have a mild, nutty flavour.
- Quinoa is great for making sides dishes, or adding to soups, casseroles or summer salads.
Preparation:
- Rinse the seeds in hot water, then simmer in twice the amount of water for approx. 20–25 minutes.
