The Kala Namak is a very special salt that comes from India. It has a smoky flavour that's reminiscent of eggs. The flavour owes its extraordinary taste to the many minerals that it contains, like iron and sulphur. The salt goes particularly well with vegetarian and vegan dishes and is wonderful on vegan "scrambled eggs". The seasoning also gives meat and fish dishes a special, exotic note.
