Description

This is a representative Chardonnay (Morillon) from southern Styria - a complex aromatic structure immediately ensures that you quickly come to enjoy this single-vineyard wine. Awarded 94 points on Falstaff.

After a selective hand harvest and ageing for 12 months in used 500 L barrique barrels it is beginning to slowly show its full potential. Ripe Burgundy aromas and elegant liveliness characterise the wonderful 19th vintage. The balance between light woody notes, yellow fruits and delicate acidity invites you to take the next sip and the next. It has a lingering finish, very harmonious and well-integrated. Can certainly be stored for up to 10 years.

A very versatile accompaniment to dishes including grilled pork and spicy fish or spicy fish dishes.
