Description
This organic Ayurvedic veggie bulgur mix is a great base for quickly prepared wholesome meals. The mix consists of gently steamed organic durum wheat combined with barberries, dates and sultanas. Peppermint, coconut flakes and a selection of spices such as cumin, turmeric and pippali give the dish an oriental note. It is suitable as a side dish for vegetable dishes, as a component in salads, stir-fries or patties.
Preparation:
Place 80 g of the bulgur mixture in a pot and add 200 ml of boiling water. Bring to the boil and cover. Simmer over low heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat and allow to stand for 5 minutes. Add oil or ghee as desired and season with salt to taste.
