Description
This organic dal soup contains red lentils along with selected organic vegetables such as broccoli, bell peppers and tomatoes. It is seasoned with traditional spices like cumin, turmeric and ginger, while coconut flakes, dates and sultanas add a mild note. The recipe is free from artificial flavourings and preservatives, providing a wholesome base for a plant-based diet. It is excellent as a light evening meal or as a meal component during Ayurvedic intermittent fasting.
Preparation:
1 portion (60 g)
Add 400 ml of water to a pot and bring to the boil. Add 60 g of the dal mixture and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add ghee or oil as desired.
